C64 1.2 has been submitted for review

“Default is left-handed.“—is that correct? Not that it matters much, but I would think a lot of people will be changing that to right handed since that is the dominant trait. Still, it’s small quirk and I’m very happy this has been submitted. I can’t wait to play Bruce Lee and Druid on my iPod touch!

I’ve updated the post and clarified what I meant by left-handed.  Traditionally, most hand-held game systems have the joystick on the left and the fire is on the right.  I prefer the opposite, but the majority of our supporters requested the switch, so we made it the default.  Simple change in Settings if you prefer the joystick on the right.

Thanks for clearing things up. I’m pretty sure I had a Tac 2 back in the day which had buttons on both sides. Being right handed I always held the thing in my left hand while controlling with my right hand and pounding on the button with my thumb. With Winter Games and Track & Field type games I’d just chuck it on my desk and wail on the thing until my mom would run in thinking I was having a seizure, then tell me to “go out and play” >.< Til this day I blame my gaming addiction to those 4 evil words.

Would be nice if you guys went back and tweaked Flashbacks controls. There has to be an easy fix to make the game control better. Nice job on this app but I am leery of spending money when something I already bought from your company has been abandoned when there are a great many of us who think its almost impossible to play.

We’ve got an update for Flashback planned and do expect some tweaks to the Joystick taken from C64.  That will include LH/RH controls.  The update will not likely be available until early January.
